Human trafficking is a form of modern day slavery. This is a crime that involves the use of force, fraud, or coercion to compel a person to provide labor or services, or to engage in commercial sex acts. Recruitment, harboring, transporting, providing, or obtaining of a person for the purpose of a commercial sex act is a form of human trafficking. Exploitation of a minor (under the age of 18) regardless of whether any force, fraud, or coercion is still considered human trafficking.
